BMW has also added the feature in its new BMW 3 Series cars. The four seater car will be shown to the masses at the North American International Auto Show that is commencing on January 7 in Detroit.
The roof of the car takes only 23 seconds to close in and 22 seconds to close out. This can be of great use if you are planning a trip to a hill station and in summers when you want to enjoy the AC in the car then you can close the roof and get your car cooled.
The BMW 3 Series car is powered by a 3.0-litre all aluminum engine with twin-turbos and direct fuel injection. The roof is made in three pieces that arrange them in a stack at the rear of the car when the roof is opened.
