Here is an interesting collection of future electric vehicles from Adam Blog City. Due to the continued hike in gas prices it is evident that electric cars would soon replace petrol ones. Therefore, there is much hype around these EV these days as they have won fame as a solution to gas problems.

Take a look at some of the EV that have already made news:
1. The recently released Tesla Motors: This electric sports car is powered 7,000 lithium-ion batteries found in cameras and cell phones. The Tesla Roadster go from 0 to 60 mph in just four seconds. It can travel 250 miles before needing to be recharged by plugging in to a regular AC outlet and cost around $90,000.
2.The X1: Not yet in production and comes with a quarter ton of rechargeable batteries. This all electric Wrightspeed’s X1 cost $120,000 and is faster than the $440,000 Porsche.
3. Tango: From Seattle-based Commuter Cars Corp. Comes with two seats like ones in bikes. Powered by a battery and slimmed down to ease its way in traffics. Priced at $18,700, but not yet designed, according to the company’s website.
4. Th!nk: Sold as the CityBee in Europe and the Citi in the U.S. , before being purchased by Ford in 1999 which produced just over 1,000 of them throughout Europe and the U.S. , comprising the world’s largest EV fleet. In 2004, Ford sold Th!nk to a European firm, which went bankrupt early this year. However, the vehicle is awaiting a makeover and introduction in US, as a Norwegian design team has purchased the company from its last owner.
