The recent Brazil Classics Fiat Show witnessed the unveiling of an all Electric Fiat Palio. The prototype vehicle was developed by a group of the best from the automotive world — Fiat Automoveis, Centro Ricerche Fiat (CRF), Itaipu Hidreletrica and the Swiss company KWO.
The electric Palio is powered by a NiMH battery pack that can attain 120 km (75 miles) with a top speed of 105 kmh (65 mph). It also runs on a 15 kW (20 hp) motor that develops 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) of torque.
Hope it comes to India too — then we can replace our gasoline powered Palios.
