Even before the world is beset by the rising gas prices, a team of young green-minded individuals already felt the need to take a step to save the choking planet. Jeff Pink, Paul Christensen, Larry Pink, Rudy Madrigal, Jim Demb and Bob Kelly way back in December 1998 opened the first car rental company, EV Rental Cars in US that let out only green cars.

Through its fleet of 350 hybrid electric vehicles, the company has succeeded in preventing more than 100 tons of air pollution and passed on to the consumers more than $1 million in fuel cost savings.



So if you are flying to Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, be sure to rent your car from the EV Rental Cars shop which are found at the airport.
