The cue little car that you are looking at is a fully functional electric car made by Yoshio Takaoka and Italy’s Start Lab SAP. The two-seater hybrid is a silent car except for when it comes to alert the pedestrians and other drivers. The car is equipped with a device that produces sound of horse hooves hitting the pavement for marking its presence.
Like most of other hybrid cars, this car has a limited top speed of just 65 km per hour and a short range of 120 km on a full battery, but the most appealing part is that this ride will cost you just $1.
The car is available at a price of $18,000 but good news for the drivers in Japan is that the government provides them with a subsidy of $6,600 under the environmental protection clause.
