Honda civic Hybrid was rated the most eco friendly vehicle amongst 350 cars, by the German road club VCD. The basis of discretion obviously was, compliance with environmental standards such low emissions and good fuel consumption.
Among the larger vehicles (seven seater vans), the Opel Zafira 1.6 CNG topped the list.
VCD severely criticized German carmakers for lagging behind in the hybrid car production. This assessment should certainly act as a wake up call for the German carmakers ... its high time to go hybrid!
