One of the best Hybrids around, the Prius is soon to get a facelift. According to UK’s AutoExpress, works are underway to turbocharge the 8-litre engine and to provide a more efficient lithium ion batteries for the THS-II hybrid system.
So Prius takers can soon take pride on a mileage, which is twice better than the older ones - offering an improved 0-62 mph time of less than 10 seconds. Not only that, with so many new hybrids around Prius trying its best to defeat any likely competitors. Toyota will soon give Prius an exterior makeover too, plus it is also considering a plug-in capability for the coupe.
