elegante-concept_48The hottest news that came out of the Geneva Auto Show was indubitably the Toyota Hybrid X. Other than that, it was only Honda who pleased the crowd with their small hybrid concept. Now, Indian automaker Tata Motors is holding talks with many hybrid-electric and fuel-cell tech cars in a view to drive much of the automotive market in the future.

Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata said that his company is talking to companies such as Ballard Power Systems, and various car makers to get some hybrid components for usage.

Tata hopes to sell up to 15000 cars per year in Italy and Spain alone in three year’ time and is also considering expanding into Africa and Latin America. The pictured above is the Elegante concept by Tata that was showcased at Geneva.
