You must have seen the hot babe, Thnadie Newton in MI 2. The lady recently won a BAFTA in February for her performance in ‘Crash’. There is a lot more to Thandie than you know. The actress is a truly green at heart. She reveals she has been environmentally conscious for quite sometime, but the biggest step she has taken so far to turn her values into reality is by swapping her SUV for a Toyota Prius after Greenpeace activist, Cat Dorey, stickered a Greenpeace leaflet to the windscreen of her family’s SUV.
Not satisfied with that, the actress even wrote to celebrity 4×4 owners on both sides of the Atlantic - including Jamie Oliver, Chris Martin, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Jack Nicholson, Madonna, Sean Connery, Ozzy Osbourne, David Beckham and her Mission Impossible II co-star, Tom Cruise.
This is one lady we can all admire. She also has an interesting letter, one on why she dumped her SUV.
An excerpt of teh letter:
[T]his year I made what I believe is a life-changing choice; for myself and my family, and also, in a small way, for the planet, and I wanted to share that with you, and tell you why,” she said in her letter’

Hi Allen, very true. No one can refute your point. However, I still think switching over to green ones are better in many ways. My point is ’small personal business jet flying’ is not as often as the trips these celebs make with their vehicles.
I think it is a good choice for her and her lifestyle. I always loved the Prius ever since it first hit the market. Cornering Light.
