Despite experiencing this gas price sensitive summer, hybrid vehicles are thriving on their increased sales. June this year proved to be a godsend month for Camry, highlander and Civic Hybrid sales shot up to new height while sales of Prius took a downturn.



It has been reported that the sale of Prius, through June, are less by ten percent over last year. On the other hand, Toyota’s Camry stood second best selling hybrid cars during June having sold more than 42,000 cars. Further, Civic Hybrid sales are up by 40 percent over previous year.
