Toyota Korea has come up with its much anticipated Lexus RX400h Hybrid SUV featuring the revolutionary ‘Lexus Hybrid Drive System‘ (by Toyota). Sorry guys, for now, it’s once again for Korean market only.
Derived from Toyota’s second-gen hybrid synergy drive, the RX400h hybrid is not only fuel efficient but this Lexus hybrid SUV is a sparkling performer that may produce up to 270 horsepower with front and back electric motors pooled with a front mounted, 3.3 liter V6 internal combustion engine.
With Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) EPA emissions rating and Electronically-controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT), the Lexus RX400h Hybrid SUV comes in 186.6 inch length, 72.6 inch width, 66.1 inch height and 106.9 inch wheelbase.
The only hitch, if you consider it, is that Lexus hybrid requires twice over the battery voltage to power its all-wheel-drive system through front and rear electric drive motors.
Equipped with the hot-tech, the RX 400h Hybrid is surely going to establish a quality market for performance-oriented and fuel-efficient hybrids, as well as go with the expectations of luxury vehicle consumers.

this car was recently launched in the Korean Market .. as of know it is very difficult to ascertain when it will be launched in the Indian market ... as it is we have very few hybrid’s available here which too are poor quality ones clearly meaning u should not expect such a high quality SUV here at least till 2010 ...
