Canada’s largest supplier of Electric Vehicles, Ecodrive Technology Group Inc. (ETG), made public its intention to go global with scooters and motorcycles powered by Rechargeable Polymer Lithium-Ion (PLI) Batteries. The ETG will be the first to develop such type of vehicle.
In doing this, the company will overcome many of the inefficiencies seen in other types of rechargeable batteries by combining the Battery Management System (BMS) in the 2-wheelers with the high energy chemistry of PLI.
ETG Director of Product Development, Gordon World comments:
The day when we can travel over hundreds of kilometers on pennies per charge is now feasible. We are continuing to push the envelope in advanced, sustainable vehicle technologies, to expand our electric transportation product line to all applications, from personal to public transportation.
